Big Apple Film Festival

Named one of MovieMaker Magazine's top "25 Film Festivals Worth The Entry Fee", "25 Coolest Film Festivals", and Film Freeway's "Top 100 Best Reviewed Festivals", is dedicated to showcasing and promoting the highest quality films from the New York City independent film community, as well as additional specially selected films from across the country and around the world. Additionally, the festival is proud to honor a variety of New York City based filmmakers, writers, actors and artists who have played an influential role in the growth of independent filmmaking in the Big Apple. Each year BAFF presents awards in a variety of categories including Best Feature Film, Short Film, Short Documentary, Feature Documentary, Animation, NYC Cityscape Award, Student Film Award, Golden Apple Award, and NY Emerging Talent Award.

We seek to facilitate the awakening of the Spirit of Wellness within every person we meet so that their authentic light can shine brightly. We want to help awaken a genuine sense of wellness within each person we touch. To affect powerful changes in the lives of our local artists, musicians, health professionals, and philanthropists who will, in turn, go out and affect the lives of many others through their work.



Florida Grand Opera

Miami, FL - Florida Grand Opera is celebrating its 79th year of continuously producing grand opera for the 2019-20 Season. The mainstage operas of the season include: Giacomo Puccini’s La bohème, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, Robert Xavier Rodriguez’s Frida, and Jules Massenet’s Werther.



History Camp

George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia 

History Camp is a project of The Pursuit of History, the non-profit organization that engages adults in conversation about history and connects them with historic sites in their communities and across the country. Designed for people who are passionate about history, regardless of age, profession, or field of study, History Camp events are also held in New England, the Midwest, and the Mountain West. This will be the first time History Camp will be held in the Mid-Atlantic region, and registrations have already been received from far beyond the region, including from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina.



Puyallup Home Remodeling Show

Puyallup, WA - Puyallup Home Remodeling & Garden Show is a show designed for homeowners new and old in all stages of remodeling, landscaping and decorating their homes. Show includes hundreds of exhibits with product demonstrations geared to enhance a wide variety of interests.



Ballet Magnificat!

Jackson, Mississippi - Ballet Magnificat!, the World’s Premier Christian Ballet Company, Founded in 1986 by Artistic Director Kathy Thibodeaux (Silver Medalist II USA International Ballet Competition) and husband Executive Director Keith Thibodeaux (musician and former child star “Little Ricky” from I Love Lucy show) is comprised of two professional touring companies which have performed for audiences in 40 nations on 5 continents. Ballet Magnificat!’s base in Jackson, Mississippi, is also home to a professional Trainee Program and School of the Arts. They have recently formed Ballet Magnificat! Brasil, a performing company and trainee program headquartered in Curitiba, Brazil.




SPLIT-CON is a comic-con-esque event that is dosed with a healthy bit of sarcasm - a lighter look at the serious subject of changing course and building an even better you in 2020. We will feature top level medical professionals, wellness vendors, healthy living/eating/family products, as well as physical health and well being businesses that will fulfill the promise of presenting tools for a healthier lifestyle. Medina Lake Cajun Festival 

Lakehills, Texas - The festival brings the amazing music, food and culture of Louisiana to the Texas Hill Country for fun the whole family can enjoy. Visitors can listen and dance to topnotch Louisiana Cajun and Zydeco music on two stages with bands from the heart of Louisiana. You can also taste all the delicious gumbo from the Great Gumbo Cook-off. Savor the delicious Cajun food cooked on site. Dishes include crawfish pies, jambalaya, fried fish and shrimp, red beans & rice, crawfish etouffee, boudin jalapeno pepper poppers, bread pudding with whiskey sauce, pecan pralines and much more.



Mountain Mandarin Festival

AUBURN, CA - When mandarin season hits the California Sierra Foothills the healthy treats can be found in everything from salads to savory, sauces to side dishes. The Mountain Mandarin Festival’s Make It With Mandarins cooking contest is one of the event’s favorite activities. The annual contest is held in November. Anyone can enter their dish featuring mandarin oranges in the contest, along with a typewritten original recipe. Categories include Mandarin Sauce, Dressing or Preserves, Mandarin Salad, Mandarin Side Dish, Mandarin Appetizer, Mandarin BBQ, Mandarin Breakfast, and Mandarin Cookie. Judging is based on creative use of mandarins, flavor, and presentation.




Craftproducers has been creating upscale and unique festivals in New York and New England for over 35 years. Craftproducers is a respected leader in the Art and Craft Festival market and is known for its high quality, innovative shows. All shows are juried, which means that the artists must submit samples of their work to exhibit. Only high quality, original work is accepted. No buy-sell is allowed and the artists must be present at the show to represent their work.



Village Renaissance Faire

Wrightstown, PA - A half-dozen musical ensembles performs through-out the fairegrounds. Pirates of Fortune’s Folly, a landlubbers port with two climbable ships, two shipwrecks, a port of call, encampment and pirate ship stage, and wizardry escapes so magical that dragons fly across the grounds and unicorns appear and stroll the grounds this year. Village Players grace the faireways with rat catching, chicken chasing, popcorn theatre and other mystical plays, all without a license, so they must watch out for marshall law. There will be musical songs, tree wishes, Trunk Shows Story-theatre where they are part of the show.



Chicago Oistrakh Symphony

The Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago was founded in 2005. The orchestra draws young professionals and recent graduates from major music programs in the area, in particular the DePaul University School of Music in Chicago, with whom it has a strong professional relationship. The Oistrakh Symphony frequently performs symphonic and chamber orchestra concerts, bringing in well-known featured soloists. The mission of the Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago is to offer audiences and musicians exposure to a broad classical repertoire performed at the highest level. Maestro Mina Zikri



Algonac Art Fair

Algonac, MI - The Annual Algonac Art Fair is a juried art fair with approximately 100 artists/vendors, including our “Featured Artist” – “Salli Art” by Salli Jones – fine art, pencil drawing, self taught artist. Plenty of entertainment for the entire family can be found at the fair. Musical groups will play at each end of the park throughout the weekend. Children will be making special crafts at the Children’s Creation Station. Brenda Roberts will be painting children’s faces with her beautiful designs and “Rosco the Clown” will be on hand to entertain your children.



Blues & Views Festival

Westport CT - The annual Blues & Views Festival is held at the end of August/early September.  Attendees will see and hear some of the best blues, soul, rock and funk artists in the business including Anders Osborne, Lawrence, Neville Jacobs, The Main Squeeze, Flow Tribe, High & Mighty Brass Band, Southern Avenue, The Commonheart, Kat Wright, The National Reserve, Jake Kulak and the Lowdown, and Fairfield’s School of Rock, all on the stage of Westport’s Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts.




Renegade Wine, Art, & Music Festival, August 29, 2020

Placerville, California - El Dorado County's most creative, passionate and pioneering winemakers, brewers, musicians and artisans will be converging on Middle Main Street in Placerville (Old Hangtown), CA for a full street fair, concert and beverage bazaar! With an obsession for all things El Dorado-born-and-raised, every wine featured is made from El Dorado grown fruit, all the bands are local folks playing that Hangtown sound and the artists and vendors will be exhibiting their regional aesthetic. Fill your belly with the best eats from our local food trucks, enjoy some hands-on fun like flower crown making, corn hole and other fun and games.



West Virginia Renaissance Festival

Lewisburg, WV - Nestled into the beautiful Greenbrier Valley eight miles west of Lewisburg, WV, the West Virginia Renaissance Festival provides the perfect backdrop to step out of time for a day at a medieval festival. Jugglers, jousters, music, magic and mayhem can be found on seven stages throughout the day. There is also a cast of villagers and royalty who interact with patrons on and off stage. Circus acts and daredevils will amaze, comedy acts will bring laughter, and encounters with mermaids and fairies enchant the young and young at heart. The centerpiece of the festival is the live action jousting show performed by the Hanlon Lees Action Theater, a performance in three acts. Between joust shows there are activities for the whole family, from games of skill to an escape room, medieval dance lessons and singalongs, elephant, camel and unicorn rides, and demonstrations by master craftsmen.
