Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival - visit the 19 beautiful Covered Bridges in Ashtabula Co. Ohio




Jefferson, Ohio - The Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival will be celebrating its 35th Annual Festival to be held October 13th and 14th, 2018, located on East Jefferson Street from Chestnut Street going East to the Railroad tracks, in Jefferson, Ohio 44047. Admission is free.

At the central festival visitors can enjoy crafters, food vendors, covered bridge souvenirs, music and strolling entertainment, a parade on Saturday, antique tractor and engine displays, homemade apple butter cooked over a fire in a kettle, bean soup at the Historical Society, kids activities at the library and more. This year there are displays from several county museums in the Community Center.


At the bridges, groups like the Boy and Girl Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, Fire Departments, and church groups have bake sales  or hot dogs or other things for sale to raise money for their organizations. They decorate the bridges for fall.  Tour maps are available at the central festival and at the bridges.


On sale are calendars with all 19 bridges, shirts and hats, postcards, Christmas ornaments and other souvenirs with our bridges on them.
