Travel & Leisure: “One of America’s Most Romantic Inns” South Carolina's Red Horse Inn

Landrum, South Carolina - The Red Horse Inn, recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award, is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains (30 Minutes from Greenville, SC), creating the perfect backdrop for romantic weekend getaways, memorable honeymoons or important corporate retreats.

The expansive Blue Ridge Mountains can be viewed from inside as well as from under the arbor and extensive patio. A garden filled courtyard with pond and patio complete the romantic scene.

The main Inn offers two large rooms with generous glass doors that flow onto a vine draped arbor patio. Six bedroom suites, each with a fireplace and whirlpool, are available for your choosing as you explore our diverse area. Each suite is decorated in a different style. Some rooms are designed for the ultimate romantic weekend. Others are better suited for the perfect getaway. The East Room and Gable Room provide private entrances for additional privacy. The other four rooms are located off our beautiful garden filled courtyard. All of the inn rooms have a delightful “kitchen closet,” providing a plentiful breakfast that allows you to sleep as late as you like. Six Victorian cottages, each with a kitchen, bedroom, bath and living room with fireplace may be reserved. Three of the cottages have whirlpool tubs. The Springhouse and Hayloft Cottages have private outdoor hot tubs.

The breathtaking views create the perfect backdrop for corporate retreats, meetings and weddings. The environment is designed to inspire in an unconventional way.
